New Jersey born DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, New York, DJ Haram has been connected to the Discwoman collective and hosted some very prescient club nights such as f(LAWLESS) or Gas, curated an event at the reputable MoMA and has been an overall disseminator through radio shows such as 'Rage Radio' on Rinse FM and, more recently, 'Monday Night Raw' on Lot Radio. Haram returns to Portugal on the heels of a new album by 700 Bliss – her duo with Moor Mother – and a trail of dj sets where the booty bounce from Jersey, Baltimore and Philadelphia entwines with her roots in Middle-East and a very exploratory and DIY attitude towards abrasive noise and industrial shards. New connections that arise from a cultural clash both politically charged and celebratory.
